The Rubik's Cube
The Rubik's cube is a very famous and widely played little puzzle. The standard puzzle is a 3 by 3 cube composed of blocks that can be rotated. It was invented by Ernő Rubik, a Hungarian architect and Professor of Architecture, in 1974. It was originally made to be an object to help his students understand how 3 dimensional objects are designed, but he quickly found out that the cube could be scrambled to form a puzzle. The puzzle was quick to catch on with children and adults alike. It has every since been a classic puzzle that everyone has pondered over for generation after generation.

The ability to solving a Rubik's cube is commonly associated by other people with high intelligence Solving the cube really requires barely any intelligence at all and mostly quick hands, fast processing time and memorization.
Why I chose this topic
I chose this topic because it relates to my life. I race friends for the fastest solve times and I practice to get faster and faster. This a hobby of mine and I realized it would be a fun, interesting a educational topic to choose. I realized this would be a good topic to share to all my friends.
